Our

God
4 Girls’ Vision for the Mexico
Crisis
Our
staff of professional psychologists
administer gratuitous services in
our God 4 Girls’ Counseling Center
to surviving victims in the epidemic
of killings (see “The Epidemic”),
and to those who have picked up
signals of being targeted. Family
members of deceased victims who are
distraught and terrified siblings
have received comfort, support, and
ministry in our Center.
For
individuals in imminent danger we
have designed a Safe House where our
full agenda of services can be
administered. It is our intent to
provide for the re-acclimation of
girls who have come to the city
solely for work opportunity, to
restore them to family and
support-base with new-found work
skills. Our hope is for the
development of their own small
businesses.
Safety Programs are presented on
school campuses by our professional
staff as a means of awareness and
protection.
It is our desire to bring our Safety
Programs into the factories where
approximately 160,000 young ladies
are employed. 80% of the factories
are US-owned, and a majority of
their work force are girls 12-21.
Families send their daughters from
all over Mexico to relocate where
the daughters are more likely to get
the job openings. Unfortunately,
the families are unaware of the
epidemic of killings and the danger
their unsuspecting daughters are
moving into. Many of the deceased
victims were last seen commuting to
or from one of the factories. To
this date we have not gained entry
into one of the US-owned factories
with our Safety Program.
“They sold girls for wine that they might drink.”
